Travel Guild Inc. (TGI) was incorporated in 1976. Since then, the company has organized and operated all-inclusive style escorted holidays and tours of good quality, primarily for the Retired Teachers of Ontario. TGI is licensed by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
The concept of a world tour by private aircraft was first introduced by the founder of the company, Ben Nierop, Sr., in 1954 for the Austin Motor Company in the UK. Since that time TGI has operated world tours in the nineteen-eighties, nineties and most recently in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
TGI is not “re-selling” another company's around-the-world tour. TGI has a staff of dedicated professionals who create these itineraries and make all the arrangements for the trips. The current president of TGI, Ben Nierop, has traveled on each around-the-world tour to ensure the ultimate experience for his clients. In addition to local guides, each tour has a TGI tour director and three TGI group leaders who travel with the group throughout the tour.
More than half of our clients are repeat customers and a tremendous number of new clients come to us by word of mouth.
